Dr. S. Bharath Narendra B.A.M.S, M.D., PhD Ayu

Dr. S. Bharath Narendra is serving in the Department of Roga Nidana at Sri Jayendra Saraswati Ayurveda College and Hospital (SJSACH), Nazarathpet, Chennai.

His primary research interest lies in the field of male infertility. He practices at Kayachikitsa & Panchkarma departments of Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Ayurvedic College & Hospital, Nazarethpet, at ‘Bharath Clinic’, T Nagar & is the Managing Director of Vibha Ayurvedic Centre, T.Nagar with specialized treatments in Panchakarma for healing various ailments.

He has been practicing at various hospitals and clinics under Dr. Asif Ali’s Panchakarma Hospital (Athani, Karnataka), Dr. Murugamani, M.B.B.S ; MD (EM) and Dr. R. Vimala L.H.M, A.M.I.H;

Dr. Bharath enjoys devising novel strategies in Panchakarma treatments such as Basti and Kizhi. In the past he has also worked with Dharma Ayurveda MedicalCollege & Hospital. He joined SJSACH in the fall of 2013.

He has been an invited speaker at the Probus Club – Chennai to talk on"Ayurvedic Awareness of diseases, their treatment & Prophylaxis".

He gave the keynote talk on," A Devout Attempt To Understand The Practicum Of Nadi Pareeksha & Aushada Kala Through The Concept Of Pranic Cycle" at BNMRAC, Bijapur. Lion’s Club invited him for keynote address on “Ayurveda & its day to day use in Treatment & Prophylaxis".

His talk on “Chikitsa – Frightens" at SJSAC & Hospital is a well-acclaimed one. He was invited in a famous TV live programme titled ‘6 doctorgal 1008 kelvigal’ and in All India Radio’s interactive talk on “Diseases in Rainy Season, their Prevention & Cure in Ayurveda WSR to Respiratory Diseases".

He is currently working for his Ph.D. in Ayurveda on male infertility. His publications are of international standards and has more than 50 conference and journal papers to his credit. He has hosted workshops and seminars titled ‘Yoga and Ayurveda’, ‘Srushti’, ‘AyurSurabhi’ and so on at various colleges and universities. He has won best student award , best all rounder award and best paper awards in various occasions.

His leadership qualities went live while he was the ‘School pupil leader’ during 2001-2002. He did his B.A.M.S at SJSACH (2008) and then pursued M.D. in Kayachikitsa at BNMRC, Bijapur (2011).

He did his Panchakarma Diploma course at Shifa ayurvedic training centre(2010). He is well trained in ‘Quality control of herbal medicines’ at the Indian Institute Of Chemical Technology.

Dr. V. Mohan ram aged 54 years is a qualified medical graduate with diploma in Anesthesiology, passed MBBS in the year 1987 from Madras University and Diploma in Anesthesiology in the year 1992 from Dr.MGR medical university. After graduation he worked in various hospitals managing ICU and giving Anesthesia to minor and major surgeries. He has nearly 30 years of experience as Medical Practitioner and managing ICU.

From 2008 to 2013 he was working With Microtherapeutic Research labs ,Chennai as Head Clinical managing a team of Clinical research associates and since May 2013 working as freelancer conducting studies at the clinical sites

He has attended various training sessions on Good clinical practice and involved in clinical trials for the past 9 years. He has conducted more than 300 BA/BE studies in the capacity of Principal Investigator. He has experienced in effective Clinical Trial planning specially Phase III & IV and BA/BE studies in Patients.

In 2012 he has handled 11 projects in Oncology 5 in Dermatology and 2 in psychiatry in various sites throughout India with a total number of 900 patients. He has handled many regulatory audits such as DCGI, ANVISA, USFDA and AFSSAPS.

Dr Ashok kumar is serving as an Assistant Professor in Dharma Ayurved medical college. He has his private practice in K.K.Nagar and T.Nagar. He is also the co-investigator for an ayurvedic research project in SRM University. His talks on health awareness are regularly telecasted in Sankara TV AND MADHA TV.

He completed his M.D. in Ayurveda in the year 2012 from SDM college of Ayurveda, Udupi, Karnataka. He had also served as a physician in Arya Vaidya Chikitsalaya, a well renowned Ayurvedic Hospital in Coimbatore.

Dr. Uma completed her Ayurvedic course from Dr. M.G.R. Medical University at Coimbatore Ayurveda College in the year 2001. She is University Rank holder in PANCHAKARMA. She hails from a family of western medical practitioners who specialise in various fields.

Dr. Uma has more than 15yrs of professional experience in Ayurvedic Medical system . She is a versatile Ayurvedic doctor with vast knowledge and research experience in this field. The beneficiaries include women, children and old people with various ailments such as Gynecological, asthmatic, rheumatic, E.N.T and orthopedic disorders. Dr. Tamilarasi Dhamotharan

Dr. Tamilarasi Dhamotharan is an Ayurvedic physician. At present, working as ayurvedic Consultant at Residential middle school, Thirukovilur.

Dr. Tamil completed her B.A.M.S Ayurvedic course from “M.G.R. Medical University" at “Venkataramana Ayurvedha College", Chennai in the year 2008. She has also completed her Diploma in Yoga from Annamalai University, Chidambaram.

JEEVANI MILK SCHEME:

Dr. Tamil is the Ayurveda consultant for the Jeevani Milk Scheme at Thirukovilur.

In residential middle school, Thirukovilur – “250 boys and girls stay and study in this institution. For the malnourished children between the age of 5 -13 years, we provide them with Aswagandha (also called Amukkarachooranam) medicine in 200 ml of milk every day. We also gave them a lohabasmam tablet called dathri loham for six weeks".

Usually, about 15 of them would fall sick every week with various ailments and taken to hospital for medical attention. Since launching Jeevani in Dec 2016, the students have shown a marked improvement in health. They have stopped going to hospital now.

Several students in Thirukovilur had skin diseases apart from the condition of general tiredness, there is a marked improvement in their health after Jeevani".
