Vaishnavi Trust initiated the Jeevani Milk Scheme for the Children at Pranab Kanya Sangha Ashram, Port Blair with the help of Ms Rekha Bhaskar.
Pranab Kanya Sangha is a Socio-Cultural and Philonthropic organization dedicated to the Welfare of Women and Children. The Sangha works towards the uplift of the downtrodden people of the society. Pranab Kanya Sangha is a home for the needy girl children and it also focuses on their holistic development besides catering to their educational needs.
Vaishnavi Trust is providing Ammukura Churnam for 31 children in the Ashram. The Sangha organised a medical check up to see the improvements in children’s health after Jeevani Milk Scheme was introduced.
- Children have improved a lot after taking the medicine.
- Children’s Hemoglobin level has improved a great extent.
- Girls have become extremely energetic.The children have gained enough energy after taking the Ammukara churnam.They participated in the annual sports and 27 of them have won prizes which is a record, says Sannyasini Chaitanyanandamayee ( Devi ) of Pranab Kanya Sangha, Port Blair.
