About Vaishnavi Welfare and Charitable Trust

A Healthcare NGO Committed to Preventive Health & Nutrition

Vaishnavi Welfare and Charitable Trust is a healthcare-focused non-profit organization dedicated to tackling malnutrition, anemia, and maternal-child health challenges through preventive healthcare and early intervention strategies. Since 2014, we have been delivering nutrition-focused health programs, maternal care interventions, and community-driven healthcare initiatives to create long-term, sustainable change.

Our focus is on healthcare as a fundamental right, ensuring that vulnerable communities—especially children, women, and expectant mothers—receive proven and nutrition-based healthcare solutions that address the root causes of poor health.

Our mission aligns with India’s national health initiatives, and we actively support government programs such as POSHAN Abhiyaan, Anemia Mukt Bharat, ICDS, and Mid-Day Meal programs. By bridging critical gaps in nutrition, healthcare, and awareness, we ensure that children and mothers receive the care they need to break the cycle of malnutrition and anemia.

Our Mission and Vision

Our Mission

To improve public health outcomes by providing preventive healthcare, fortified nutrition, and medical support to reduce malnutrition, anemia, and maternal health risks in underserved communities.

Our Vision

We envision a future where:

  • Every child receives proper nutrition to grow, learn, and thrive.
  • Women and mothers have access to healthcare and nutrition for safe pregnancies and healthy families.
  • Preventive healthcare and early intervention replace reactive treatments, creating long-term health resilience.
  • Communities take ownership of their health, breaking the intergenerational cycle of malnutrition and anemia.
What do we do?

We work at the grassroots level to deliver integrated solutions that ensure long-term health benefits for children and women. Our approach includes:

  • Jeevani Program - A health and nutrition initiative that provides fortified food, gut health interventions, and preventive healthcare for children.
  • Shakthi Program - A specialized program focused on reducing anemia in pregnant women through nutritional supplements, maternal health awareness, and traditional medicine.
  • Kalvarayan Hills Initiative - A community-driven effort to combat malnutrition and anemia in tribal regions through food security, maternal care, and sustainable health programs.
Why Our Work Matters?

Despite progress, millions of children and women in India continue to suffer from malnutrition and anemia. While government programs have made significant efforts, scaling and implementing these initiatives effectively requires collective action. Vaishnavi Welfare and Charitable Trust works in collaboration with healthcare professionals, local communities, and government bodies to ensure that essential nutrition, healthcare, and education reach those who need it most.

By addressing malnutrition and anemia at their root, we are helping children grow stronger, mothers stay healthier, and families build a better future.
