Through the reference of a volunteer Divya Suresh, Sid from D'frence which is a leadership building company got in touch with Vaishnavi trust. As part of D'Frence's team building exercises with a large corporate , 25 cycles were to be assembled and given away to girls on the March 8th 2017. Vaishnavi trust coordinated the same for the girls from chetpet. 25 girls from the 7th and 8th grade were taken to ITC Chola. It was the first time for the girls to go to such a large hotel and they were thrilled with the escalators. Each girl was part of a team of about 5 participants in assembling the cycle in a large hall. Thereafter the girls were allowed to ride the cycles in the hall itself. D'Frence was kind enough to deliver the cycles to the home directly. The thought of having cycles brought so much of joy to the girls that they had carried "Thank You" cards to the participants.
