Vaishnavi Trust started a new Jeevani Milk Project at Hyderabad from 13 th january 2018 at Vaidehi Seva Samithi located at Saidabad.
Vaidehi Seva Samithi started in Hyderabad in the year 1993 to focus on the problems of Women and Children.
Vaidehi Ashramam is a Unit of Vaidehi Seva Samithi, a home with parental care and motherly love and affection.They are taken care of their education depending on their aptitude , till they are self sufficient and make them join the main stream of society by arranging marriages with suitable person. Even after the marriage the ashramam keeps in touch with their families. the girls are imparted with good manners, Indian traditions and culture, a sense of responsibility to pay back to the society.
Now there are 120 girls in the ashramam. The ashramam fulfills all the requirements of the girls. The girls are studying from LKG to 10th class in Sri Saraswathi Sishu Mandir High School. Thirty three girls are pursuing higher education in engineering , polytechnic and degree colleges. Apart from this formal education, they are also taught fine arts like music, painting exercises like yogasan and self defense art like karate depending upon their aptitude .
Jeevani Milk scheme is provided to 90 girls in the Vaidehi Ashram. Out of which 45 girls are under the age of 10 and remaning 45 girls above age of 10.
Fresh farm milk ( GIR cow’s Milk )is supplied everyday to the children from Saptaparni Goshala.
Mr Ramesh of Vaishnavi Trust oversees the entire functions of the Hyderabad Project.
Dr Neelima conducted an intial diagnosis of children and adviced on the appropriate dosage of Ammukura churnam to be mixed with Milk based on the children general health.
